1) im looking for someone who:

-prays! (a must) and observes all the fara'id to the best of her abilities and knowledge
(Fard: religious duty commanded by Allah (God))
-fears God (doesn't do or think bad things (of course no one is perfect))
-dresses herself modestly as our sunnah prescribes (hijab would be great, but we can work on it together)
-is prepared to grow in her religion and imaan and help me grow as well
and equally grow in her knowledge in her field(s) of interest (maybe also a proponent of lifelong learning? )
-is both beautiful on the inside and the outside! her inside however is what is most appealing if it's beautiful and pure!
-is ambitious, optimistic yet realistic and thankful (for what she has)


I don't mind (i.e.: i'm not going to reject anyone on the basis of)
-your skin/hair color
-what cultural background you have

(as long as you're a muslima)
though it is a plus if your family has the same or similar values as us (in islam)
i want my children to have a healthy islamicly sound relationship with their grandparents, uncles aunts etc.


2) Age
18 : bare minimum
28: maximum
i my self was born in 1992, yet i dont have a problem with it if you're a couple years older (4-5 max) than me... Since it's a sunnah (first wife of the Prophet PBUH was older than Him), i don't have any issue with it, however i do put a limit of 4 years fearing it might become alienating for both of us at times... and i want us to be close to each other (same generation)
and i want us to be fairly (not exactly) the same age, for our children in sha Allah, so we can both perform our duties as parents to the best of our abilities
and so we can grow old together! :)

3) divorcee / widow / children (from a first marriage)
depending on the person (if we are a match)
i don't mind if you are a widow or a divorcee (honestly!) PLUS again, it's sunnah...
children? not older than 5 years old
one child or two, not more
keep in mind i have a child wish of my own. So it is best if you have one too (not because I want children)

in case of a divorcee with or/and without children
i would like us as a family to have a healthy relationship with your ex.:
if you have children from a previous marriage
otherwise i do NOT want to see or hear this man EVER! (can't stress this enough)
AGAIN respectfully no women with crazy, jealous or clingy ex(es), relationship problems etc.

4) i'm NOT looking for
(some things are obvious, but just to be thorough i'll briefly mention them)

-someone with a serious lack of imaan: thinking of (maybe) leaving islam OR someone with serious doubts about islam thinking of (maybe) leaving the fold of islam

-someone who skips prayer (salat) regularly/always , doesn't fast ramadan etc.
without a legitimate reason

-Someone who is bad to their parents (3aaq ul walidayn; Sixth Greater Sin: (Disobedience to parents)) without a legitimate reason
(obviously not when they ask you t leave islam or do haram)

-someone who smokes, (though we can work on it, if you have shown to be committed to follow islam and if are otherwise a match, i can see beyond your smoking for a while)

-someone who drinks (alcohol) or uses any other type of drug.

-someone who eats pork or lives from halalmoney: i.e.
makes a living by doing/saying/buying/selling/teaching/... something haram bad/prohibited by islam

-someone with serious mental, financial or relationship problems!!! (can't stress this enough)

-someone who is either very shallow (only interested by clothes, outer beauty) OR materialistic (only after worldy life/dunya/money and riches) OR extremely narcissistic!

-a cleaninglady or a kitchenhelp, my cooking is not bad at all (so im told) and my cleaningskills are not to be messed with... I want a wife and a mother for my (future) children.... i want us to be a team and tackle our household as a team!

-a yes-woman : someone who agrees to everything i say... i want you to think for yourself and correct me where i'm wrong, take initiative, be an active part of our household!
